History

Brothers Ltd. was established in September 1966. The original family business started as a general merchandise store in downtown Newnan, Georgia in 1911 by Ellis Mansour, a Lebanese immigrant. In 1966, Ellis and Charles Mansour (Ellis' grandsons) established a shop in a building across the town square from the original store catering to fine clothing for men. In 1993, the store was expanded into the adjacent building (built in 1879) to include an apparel shop offering women’s apparel and fashion accessories. Both buildings are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places as part of the Newnan Commercial Historic District.

As we approach 100 years in business, we remain totally committed to customer service and a sense of community in and around Newnan, the "City of Homes."
